This tutorial assumes a basic working knowledge of PSP and AS.

Scrap kit is Joyeux Noel from SophisticatSimone and is available for purchase from Hania's DesignHERE
The animation is also by SophisticatSimone, available at CDO HERE There are three animations in the package - all very festive!
The Christmas pixies are by Amberly Berendson, available at MTA HERE and HERE
You'll need the plugin Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow and you can get that HERE
Mask and font of choice


Install your plugin before beginning
Open a new transparent image, 600 x 600, and flood fill with white
Open paper 15, resize to 600 x 600, copy, close and paste as new layer
Load your mask and then merge group
I also blurred my mask - adjust, blur, gaussian blur, 8
Open element 58, resize to 350 width and move to the top left
Open element 64, resize to 260 width and move up a bit and to the right side
Open element 38, resize to 230 width and move to the right side
Open element 70, resize to 225 width and move so it covers the bottom middle of the wreath
Open element 66, resize to 470 width and move down a bit
Open element 39, resize to 230 width and move to the bottom left
Open element 24, resize to 130 width and move to the bottom right
Open element 33, resize to 340 width and move to the bottom
Open the Amberly Berendson Candy Cane Dancer, move her to the left side
Open the Amberly Berendson pixie tube and copy the layer with the little girl laying down
Position her on top of the gift bag
Go through your layers and add drop shadows to your elements
I used 0, 3, 35, 6, black
Add the copyright info and license number for the Amberly Berendson tubes
Convert to raster
Effects, plugins, Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow:
On the color tab choose white
On the basic tab: 7, 25, 100, draw box checked
Reduce the opacity of this layer to 70%
For my text, I used Precious, #bf121d and then gave it the same gradient glow as the CR
Click on the layer with the wreath and merge down, then merge down again
Copy this layer and go to AS
Right click to paste as new animation
Duplicate until you have 16 frames and then minimize for now
Open the snow animation from SophisticatSimone
Edit, select all
Animation, resize animation and choose 500 width
Edit, copy and then close
Maximize your tag frames
Edit, select all
Edit, paste into selected frame - use frame 1
Position the animation so it's slightly above the top of the wreath and centered on the tag and click once to set in place
Minimize for now
Back to PSP
Close the eye on the merged bottom layer
Click any other layer to activate it
Edit, copy special, copy merged
Go to AS and right click to paste as new animation
Duplicate until you have 16 frames
Copy and close
Maximize your tag frames again
Edit, paste into selected frame - again frame 1
Position and click once to set in place
If you wish to resize your tag, click animation, resize animation and choose the size you want
Save as a gif file
