This tutorial assumes a basic working knowledge of PSP and AS. I use X5 but any version will do.

This tut uses a FTU scrap kit from mago74 and Anna Jolanta called Silent Night, and is available HERE.

You will need the plugin Greg's Factory Output Vol 11 - Pool shadow and you can get that HERE It's called Factory Output II on this site.
You will also need the plugin Vanderlee - Snowflakes and it's available on the same site.

Supplies are HERE

Open a new image 600 x 600 and flood fill with white
You can resize it later if you wish
Open paper 10, resize to 600 x 600, copy and close
Paste as new layer
Load your mask and then merge group
Use your pick tool to pull the sides of the mask layer out a bit
Effects, plugins, Greg's Factory Output Vol 11 - Pool Shadow - default settings
Image, flip vertical
Open cluster frame 3, resize to 700 width, copy and close
Paste as new layer and adjust size if you need to - I did a little bit
Click your group layer to activate it
Open the stacked boxes, resize to suit, and paste to the right side of the frame
Open the Christmas scenery tube, copy and close
Click the frame layer to activate it
With your selections tool, draw a square that fits inside the frame
New raster layer
Paste into selection
Deselect
Move this layer below the frame layer
Click the frame layer again to activate it
With your selection tool, draw a square in the area you want the snowfalling
Make three blank raster layers and put them below the frame layer
On the top blank layer, effects, plugins, Vanderlee - Snowflakes

On the middle blank layer, repeat the plugin but change the random seed
On the bottom blank layer, repeat the plugin but change the random seed
Deselect
Click your frame layer to activate it
Open element 124, resize to suit, copy and close
Paste as new layer and move to the bottom right
Open element 23, resize to suit, copy and close
Paste as new layer and move to "sit" it on the frame on the left side
Open element 3, resize to suit, copy and close
Paste as new layer and move to the bottom right
Add your drop shadows - I used 3, 3, 20, 5, black
No drop shadows on your snowflake layers
If you're going to resize do that now before adding text
Add your watermark
For my text I used Gwendolyn Bold, #7f0e0d
Give your text a small drop shadow - I used 1, 1, 30,2, black
Now for the animation....
Close the eye on the bottom and middle snowflake layers
Click the top snowflake layer to activate it
Edit, copy special, copy merged
Go to AS and right click to paste as new animation
Back to PSP, close the eye on the top snowflake layer
Open the eye on the middle snowflake layer and click the layer to activate it
Edit, copy special, copy merged
Go to AS and paste after current frame
Back to PSP, close the eye on the middle snowflake layer
Open the eye on the bottom snowflake layer and click the layer to activate it
Edit, copy special, copy merged
Go to AS and paste after current frame
Save as a GIF file and you're done!
